How SlayStudios collects, uses, and protects data across our Discord bots (Top Tickets, ServerShield), our websites and dashboards, and our Roblox experiences.

Last updated: July 18, 2026

1. Data we collect

  • Discord profile data: user ID, username, and avatar (email only if you explicitly authorize it via OAuth on a dashboard).
  • Guild data needed for bot operation: guild ID, channel and role IDs, and member counts.
  • Configuration you set: ticket types, staff roles, moderation settings, log channels, and similar per-server options.
  • Ticket content (Top Tickets): answers to intake questions and messages included in ticket transcripts, stored for the server that created them.
  • Moderation and audit data (ServerShield): timestamps of actions and threat logs, for security and troubleshooting. ServerShield also maintains a dedicated policy covering blacklists, appeals, and abuse prevention at servershield.slaystudios.org/privacy.
  • Aggregate statistics: total server and member counts, used for our dashboards and public stats.
  • Roblox experiences: your Roblox user ID and in-game save data (currency, collection, progress), stored via Roblox’s data services.

2. How we use data

  • Operate the services: tickets, transcripts, moderation, alerts, and game saves.
  • Show analytics to server staff and public aggregate stats (for example server counts on our website).
  • Improve reliability and security: rate limiting, abuse prevention, and incident response.
  • Provide support when you ask for help.

3. Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We only share it with the services needed to run SlayStudios products — the Discord API, Cloudflare (database, storage, hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and Roblox (game platform and data stores) — and only as required for functionality or legal compliance.

4. Retention

Configuration data persists until you remove it or remove the bot. Ticket transcripts and ticket history are retained for the server that created them; server administrators can request removal. Logs and aggregate statistics may be retained for security and operational purposes. Roblox save data persists with your Roblox account per Roblox’s policies.

5. Security

Our bots are built least-privilege — they do not request Administrator permissions or privileged intents where avoidable. Secrets are stored as environment variables, never in shared code, and all website, dashboard, and API traffic uses HTTPS.

6. Your choices

  • Remove the bot from your server to stop data collection there.
  • Update or delete configuration at any time via bot commands or the dashboard.
  • Contact us in the SlayStudios Discord to request removal of specific data we store.
  • Manage Roblox game data through your Roblox account and Roblox’s privacy tools.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
